Paradigma today held their side-event at the 63rd Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs. The event, which was entitled ‘Young People who use Drugs – Bridging the gap Between Human Rights and Key Affected Populations’ was organized by the Paradigma Coalition with SSDP as the main organizers. Youth RISE members Seyi Kehinde, Joana Canedo, Ailish Brennan and Daniel Nii Ankrah were on the panel, along with Clement Bofa-Oppong of SSDP Ghana.
The event took place at the incredibly unsociable time of 8AM and, despite the timing, was incredibly well-attended, with a number of national delegations also in attendance. The history and purpose of Paradigma was explained as well as the work being done on the ground by our member organizations in Barcelona, Nigeria and Ghana. A recording of the side-event can be viewed on our Facebook page.
