About Sia Das
Sia is a Criminal and Human Rights Lawyer and researcher working at the Supreme Court of India. Her work focuses on transnational crime, with a focus on drug policy reform, harm reduction and rights-based approaches within the criminal justice system. Her work has focused on examining the impact of punitive approaches on youth and marginalized communities, including issues of surveillance and punitive policing.
As a researcher, she also explores on the potential use of space technology and geospatial mapping for equitable public health governance, particularly equitable public health resource allocation and harm reduction strategies.
