About Maria Vlagkopoulou
Maria is a psychologist, activist and advocate for human rights, women’s rights, gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights as well as harm reduction. Originally from Greece and currently living in the Netherlands, she’s completing my Master’s degree in Social and Health Psychology at Utrecht University.
Maria’s work and interests focus on harm reduction, meaningful youth engagement and supporting people who use drugs, including through experience in harm reduction settings and street work. She is committed to promoting inclusive, compassionate and non-stigmatizing support for marginalized communities.
