Jamani is a Black, nonbinary health worker. Their work spans a wide range of roles and settings, including survival sex and sex work, peer program coordination, health-focused street outreach, prevention, local policy, community engagement, peer birthwork and lactation, and syringe services programs (SSP). They are excited to join IWG and look forward to collaborating with other young people who use(d) drugs to center global issues, needs, and strategies in full-spectrum harm reduction.
