About Emil Belgau
Emil Belgau is a drug reform activist from Oslo, Norway. He’s the Chairman of the Board of Safer Youth Norway (SYN), a youth led, members based organization working to end the war on drugs. Their work centers around three topics: decriminalization of use and possession of all substances, legalizing and responsibly regulating cannabis and evidence based prevention. Besides being Chairman of the Board at SYN since 2022, he is also employed in a part-time position as an advisor in their mother organization, Safer Drug Policies, the largest member-based NGO within the drug policy field in Norway. He is currently pursuing a BA in Political Science at the University of Oslo.
