I am Caterina Zampieri, a 24-year-old law graduate from Italy with a focus on international and transnational criminal law. My academic work has centered on organized crime and drug trafficking, with my thesis examining international cooperation frameworks and offering a critical comparison between the war on drugs and the war on terror, using Venezuela as a case study. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience in diplomatic and NGO settings, including at the Italian Embassy in Canberra and in Vienna-based organizations, where I contributed to UN and intergovernmental processes. My work has involved legal research, data analysis, drafting reports, and engaging with stakeholders in multicultural environments.
