Youth RISE Seeks Focal Person Volunteers in Ghana! Are you committed to advocating for the rights of young key populations and individuals living with HIV? Do you wish to contribute positively to your community? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

Youth RISE, as a part of the Count Me In (CMI) consortium, is inviting dedicated volunteers to take on the role of a Focal Person in Ghana. The CMI consortium represents a significant collaboration among regional and global networks of young key populations and those living with HIV. Our goal is to integrate these populations into Global Fund processes spanning across Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe.

As a Focal Person volunteer, you’ll be instrumental in the execution of the CMI 2.0 project initiatives in Ghana. You’ll provide crucial feedback on Global Fund priorities from a Ghanaian standpoint, engage in post-replenishment campaigns, and compile comprehensive progress and financial reports.

We’re seeking individuals who are:

  • Aged between 18-30 years old
  • Proficient in the knowledge of Global Fund processes in their country
  • Familiar with the work of Youth RISE
  • Experienced in online collaboration and project management
  • Excellent communicators with strong writing skills
  • Empathetic and unbiased toward marginalized populations
  • Culturally competent and understanding of diverse groups
  • Solution-oriented and capable of working independently

We encourage applicants who are affiliated with a registered national organization focusing on drug policy and harm reduction and those with lived experiences as a young person who uses drugs.

Youth RISE is committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive environment. We are firm believers in equal opportunity and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, cultures, and experiences.

If you’re ready to rise to the challenge, please apply by June 28th, 23:59 (GMT). Send a one-page cover letter and a CV (maximum two pages) to isaac@youthrise.org. Please use ‘GF Focal Person –Ghana’ as the subject of your email.
