Youth RISE is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our International Working Group!

Are you a young person passionate about drug policy reform and advocating for the rights of people who use drugs? Are you interested in joining a global community of like-minded activists and advocates? Send us your application to become part of our team!

Youth RISE (Resources, Information, Support, and Education) is a youth-led network dedicated to promoting evidence-based drug policies and advocating for the meaningful involvement of young people in harm reduction services and drug policy reform.

Our work aims to amplify, maximize, and centre priorities of young people who use drugs and those affected by drug policies at local, regional, and international levels through coalition building, advocacy, and evidence gathering. Our mission is to empower young people to become advocates for drug policy reform and to advance full-spectrum harm reduction and human rights-based approaches to drug policy.

As a member of the International Working Group, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other passionate and dedicated young people worldwide. You will be involved in shaping the strategic direction of Youth RISE and will have the opportunity to support the development and implementation of campaigns and projects to advance our mission.

We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Between the ages of 18 and 30 years old
  • Passionate about drug policy reform and advocating for the rights of people who use drugs
  • Able to commit at least 5 hours per week to Youth RISE activities
  • Committed to working in a collaborative and inclusive manner
  • Well-versed in working in a predominantly online environment
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

We welcome and prioritise applications from individuals from diverse backgrounds, including people who use drugs, people from underrepresented communities, and people from the global south.

Apply by March 17th, 23:59 (GMT). To apply, please fill out this form outlining your skills and motivation for joining the International Working Group.
