Alan Bevan is a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in accounting and payroll management. Originally from Kenmare, Co Kerry, Ireland, Alan now resides in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal, for most of the year.
With extensive experience in the finance sector, Alan has served as the Finance Director for multiple companies in Ireland. His expertise in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning has been instrumental in driving the success of these organizations.
In addition to his professional endeavours, Alan has also been actively involved with Youth RISE, an organization dedicated to empowering and supporting young individuals. He has been lending his advisory services to the organization for several years, offering valuable insights and guidance. In recognition of his contributions, Alan was appointed Finance Officer of Youth RISE in January 2023. His analytical skills, attention to detail, and passion for fostering positive change make him a valuable asset in professional and charitable endeavours.
Outside of work, Alan enjoys immersing himself in the vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes of the Azores, exploring the island’s natural wonders and embracing the local community.
