Andrean Santoso (Victor)
Victor is a bachelor of political science from the University of Gadjah Mada in Indonesia. In 2011 Victor took a straight look at the poor law enforcement in his country and since then he has been concerned about drug issues in Indonesia. He began volunteering with the civil society organization Lingkar Ganja Nusantara whose aim is to legalize marijuana in Indonesia. After 3 years with Lingkar Ganja Nusantara he has learned how to organize, advocate and change society’s views on the issue of narcotics. Since 2015 he has worked for Persaudaraan Korban Napza Indonesia (PKNI), where he is the coordinator of youth programs concerned with harm reduction and advocacy for young people who use drugs. PKNI, the Indonesian Drug Users Network, is a network of drug user organizations that was established to address the concerns of the victims of drug policy and the resulting stigma, violence, discrimination, and violations of Human Rights towards people who use drugs.
